Daily Habits, are you really moving forward?
“Small, daily, seemingly insignificant improvements, when done consistently over time, yield staggering results.”
My question to you is, “Are you taking daily action to improve yourself and being consistent in that process”?
We know that action equals results but how often do we really put in the work that pushes us forward, moves us out of comfort and creates change. And just doing your job is not enough. Turning up to work or going through the motions in the gym or eating an ‘ok’ diet will not move you forward.
It is so easy to get caught in this trap, doing what we think is good stuff but really it is just habit and what is familiar, and convincing ourselves that it is moving us forward.
So, what do you want for your life? Do you want change, do you want more? This could be in your health, your relationships, your finances, and your free time. When did you last ask yourself that question and honestly challenge what you are doing each day?
My charge to you this week is to STOP. Stop doing what you have always done, because you guessed it, you’ll get what you’ve always got.
It is time to do something different, even if that something is small, but if you commit to that over a long enough period of time. You will get results.
My example recently was with my health, going through the motions in the gym kidding myself that I was improving.
I was not, I needed to change.
So, I employed a boxing coach, I changed the way I trained and got some help. I had my full blood count done and worked with my nutritionist to elevate my health.
Have you done that recently for your health? For your business?
When was the last time you asked for help, invested in yourself both financially, physically, and emotionally?
Here are my Top 3 things to help you get started.
1. Body
Change the way you exercise today. If you don’t exercise, start. If you do, change it up, train harder, catch yourself if you’re going through the motions and really challenge yourself.
2. Brain
Read self help and personal development material daily. At least 10 pages per day. Set your morning routine to cultivate your mind, your agenda, your greatness first.
3. Ask
Ask for help, get a coach. Be it a personal coach like me, a nutrition coach or fitness coach. Spend some time and money on yourself and challenge change.
Yes, I called you out today, why? Because I know you can achieve more, I know this world needs you to step up, and I KNOW you KNOW that to be true.
With love,
Tom
