What’s your vison for 2023?
It is that time of year again, where you can think about what is to come and how you are going to do things next year. So often as the year winds to a close we think about what we have done and what we will do. But do we really give it the thought and attention it deserves?
If you are reading this and thinking to yourself, ‘I could have achieved so much more’ or ‘I am a little frustrated with where I am at’. Then keep reading!
I don’t want 2023 to be another missed promise to yourself, another falling short. I want it to be an extraordinary year! Now I am not going to pretend that you can reach all your dreams and goals in one year, heck I am still waiting for my private jet… But what I will say, is that if you can think big enough and set clear enough objectives, you can make your way steadily and surely to the goals you want.
So here are some exercises for you to do as we round out 2022.
1. Reflect.
The key to moving forward is to see where you have been and in that, learn from your wins and learn from your mistakes. Answer these simple questions:
- What did I do this year that I don’t want to do again?
- What did I do this year that I want to do less of?
- What did I do this year that I want to do more of?
- What did not do this year that I wish I had done?
These simple questions allow you to clearly see where you need to make adjustments to your life. Where you need to learn to say ‘no’ to certain activities, that allows time and space for the things you did not do. Things you wish to do less of, consider finding and hiring someone into your life/business to help with those.
2. Dream.
With absolutely NO consideration for how it will be achieved, I want you to dream about what you might like to achieve next year. If we were to sit down in a years’ time and you had had the most incredible year for your personal relationships, business, finances, and fun. What would it look like?
Go a little crazy here, spend some time and dream.
3. Specifics.
Now take that dream and get specific, think of these 6 headings for your life.
- Family
- Faith
- Business
- Finances
- Health
- Fun
I want you to write 3 specific goals for each of these activities in 2023. What MUST you achieve this year to fulfil all 6 categories?
4. Start with the End.
Now you have your 18 goals (6x3) I want you to work back from those to the present day. For example, if you said you want to make £120,000 this year, go to December 30th 2023 and work back month by month as to what it would take.
- £10K per month = X number of adjustment per week.
- X number of adjustments per week = Y number of New patients per week.
- then consider your ROF conversion %, build that in, then think about how you attract new people, build that in. What is your retention?
I know this can seem like a lot of work, but if you spend the time to really work back from your target and create a step-by-step process, you will end up with a simple road map to follow for your success next year!
Time to put in some work. And remember I am always here to help you!
With love,
Tom
