Focus on what is important and make steps daily

It is the start of a New Year and there is a lot of chatter about how ‘it is going to be different’ and this will be the year. And I get it, excitement is good, enthusiasm is needed to get the wheels in motion. But to truly overcome the inertia and make a change to your life, it takes one simple thing… action!

So, while it is nice to pump our chests with enthusiasm, create the goals and the vision. My question to you, is have you really thought about what it will take to get there, and have you set up your day and your routines to make that happen?

AND have you included working on yourself, your family, and your loved ones?

You WILL achieve the goal you set out to and here is how.
We have all heard the saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, however when we really consider it, Rome was built ‘day by day’ with consistency. And sometimes the workers would have looked back after a hard day, and it may not seem as if they made any dent on their future masterpiece.

However, they did.

So, my proposition to you is to structure your day in a way that you do at least ONE thing each day for ALL four of the following categories. That way once the week is out, you will have done at least 7 things to improve your life and circumstances. Take that over the year and sure to be, you will have made a real impact on your future.

The four areas I choose to focus on daily are:

1.       My health

2.       My relationships

3.       My personal development

4.       My businesses

So, for an example and demonstration, as I write this on the 3rd January 2022, I will share with you my list for today, to inspire and show you the simplicity of it.

1.       Workout
Eat Clean
Fresh Air

2.       Support Sarah on her health goals
Cook and have intimate evening meal with Sarah

3.       Read minimum 10 pages

Visualise minimum 5 mins

4.       Videos for Sarah/Epoch
Calendly admin
Plan video recordings
Write February webinar
One blog
One podcast

And it is as simple as that.

How will your year go?

Let’s go!!

With love,

Tom
