You can’t always be on your best from!

You can’t always be on your best from!

So, you need to create and develop scripts and procedures to fall back on when you’re not feeling right.

Life happens and despite championing health and living a wellness lifestyle, illness and injury can get us all and often out of nowhere.

This is certainly what has happened to me recently and a such I wanted to share with you some top tips and procedures that I know you should have in place to keep your practice thriving at this time.

You see practice is a momentum game, constant provision and demonstration of service is key. What do I mean by this? Constant provision is to be available for adjustments and seeing new patients on a regular basis, without long gaps and breaks. Now these can be filled by team/associates/locums that I will explain shortly but consistency of service is one key.
The other is constant demonstration, what I mean by this is being in constant communication with your practice members and patient, such as weekly blogs, social posts, letters, and phone calls, outside the routine adjustments so they know you care.

Therefore, the basis of my advice to keep your practice thriving when you are not is procedures that help you to maintain consistency.
Here are my TOP 3 procedures that you should have in place:

1.       Technique that reduces stress on YOU.
Chiropractic is a physical job, on your feet and moving, lifting, and adjusting patients. The more you do, the longer you’ve been in the profession, the more toll this has on your body.
Be sure to study and practice and master a technique that allows you to look after your body and adjust with ease, even when injured.
I have developed the ASC technique that I teach through having worked injured and still being able to maintain an exceptional service.

2.       Day 1 and ROF scripts.
Scripts serve two purposes, the ability to get all the information across that is necessary in an appointment without forgetting, and to allow you to put your personality into each visit. They also have an added bonus, when you are not feeling on top form or you have some personal stress, they are a great fall back to continue to give exceptional service each time.
I have developed a 5-part New Patient and a 7-part ROF script to help me thrive, my associates and you, the Certain Ones.

3.       Contingencies and team values.
Probably overlook but super important are continency measures, what to do when shit hits the fan? A chiropractor can’t come in and there is no cover. No CA’s turn up on a day. You are locked out the building, COVID closes you. All very realistic scenarios, do you have a play book with a plan for each of these?
If not I would strongly suggest thinking of the most likely (albeit unlikely) scenarios where your team will need to call the shots. Create a play that they can run, this would be a step-by-step guide to overcome the issue.
Layer that with great team values, something I teach in the membership, for it is the strength of your team and their ethos that will see you through.

So there you have it. My top tips to keep your practice thriving, even when you are not.

Just 3 steps that can take you from fear and scarcity to security and abundance.

With love,

Tom
